My friend and I were talking about what we would do should we have a daughter, consequently, neither of us want daughters... Our reasoning behind it is similar, something that bleeds for more than 5 days, has mood swings like a person with D.I.D. (dissociative identity disorder), and is chased like a piece of meat, cannot not be an easy thing to raise. Our thoughts to solve the problem are different though: one is to "destroy" the fetus before it is born (why would we even want to bother with any of the problems associated), the other is to force the daughter to be gay and attempt to deal with the rest of what her life gives (who knows, she might become massively rich and take care of me for the rest of my life). This got me to thinking who is more morally wrong, which of us is the bigger a**hole? Then for the fun of it, is it worse to give the child up because the baby is a girl, or to leave the mother for not rearing a male child?
